We are a British Virgin Islands holding company and conduct all of our
operations in multiple jurisdictions where we operate through our operating
subsidiaries. Our operations in China, in addition to our business presence
elsewhere across the world, are enabled by our subsidiaries based therein.
Investors in the ADSs are not purchasing equity securities of our operating
subsidiaries but instead are purchasing equity securities of a British Virgin
Islands holding company. For the purpose of this annual report on Form 20-F,
references to "ReneSola", "we", "us" and "our" are made as to ReneSola Ltd, a
British Virgin Islands holding company, and its subsidiaries, as the context
requires; and references to "ReneSola Ltd" are made as to the holding company
only.
